About Us

Our Story

We are a relatively new Community Interest Company (CIC) setup in 2024 by 2 local women in Sidmouth;

A CIC is a community focused company where any surplus generated will be reinvested in the company for the benefit of the community we serve. Our aim is to have a healthy business side of the CIC that can bring in money enough to pay a decent wage to those working for us, whilst also giving a little extra that goes back into the CIC to be put to good use within the East Devon community.

Our paid for services include cleaning, cooking, DIY, gardening, shopping trips, computer help, benefits advice, advocacy and more...

Our mantra is that we want to hear about the pickle you have found yourself in so that we can see if we can help! All of our staff are paid a fair living wage, are DBS checked and have a thorough induction and training programme when they join us. We believe that having a continuity with your enabler makes things a lot easier and a LOT more fun!

The other side of us is our community projects. As we are new, these are still in the early stages so keep an eye open for more information as it comes!

As a CIC, we receive NO funding from the government or local councils and so rely on people using our paid for services, fundraising and donations.
